UPDATE: Brian has been found safe & well.

A 74-year-old man, Brian Sheppard, is missing in Gore tonight (28 Aug).

Brian suffers from Alzheimers so may be disorientated.

He was last seen in McKellar Street, Gore around 5.30pm and was wearing a maroon/burgundy woolen jersey, blue collared shirt, tweed cap and charcoal grey trousers.

Brian also has an Apple Airtag that may be picked up by other users of Apple devices.

His family said Brian is fit and suggest he may be walking around, perhaps on the side of the road or heading out of town.

The weather in Gore this evening remains clear and 13 degrees but is expected to drop to 9 degrees later on with scattered showers.
