Emergency Management Southland has issued a warning for several Southland rivers this afternoon (22 May).

Rivers affected include the Waimeamea and Pourakino Rivers in Western Southland, Hedgehope Stream and Makarewa River in Central Southland and Mokoreta, Mataura and Waikawa Rivers in Southern Southland.
