Invercargill firefighters are attending a house fire in the Appleby suburb of Invercargill this morning.
A Fire and Emergency NZ spokeswoman said the call came in about 9.15am.
There have been no reported casualties and St John Ambulance has been stood down from the callout.

Fire crews on site have asked for a fire investigator but have not said whether any suspicious circumstances are suspected.
Gail Campbell, who lives opposite the house, said she was startled by the smoke alarms going off and the smell of thick smoke wafting through her house.
“I heard the smoke alarm go off then smelt the smoke....[as] I had my door open, and next minute fire engines are here."
“I felt scared. I wondering what was going on, and what was happening.”
She praised the fire crews for their quick response.
“The fire crews arrived real fast. They did a fantastic job.”
Ettrick Street is currently blocked off from Ness to Ythan Streets.
