Elan is an outstanding student who received First in Year 13 Mathematics with Statistics, First in Year 13 Physical Education, First in Year 13 History, Second in Year 13 English, Cantwell Cup for Excellence in Senior Mathematics with Statistics, Verrall Cup for Excellence in Senior English, Etheredge Trophy for The Humanities in Senior Social Sciences, and the Meridian Energy Excellence Award and Manapouri District High School Memorial Trophy for Dux.
