Fiordland College is delighted to welcome new Principal Steven Mustor. Steven began in the role at the start of the year. Steven has almost 10 years' experience as a principal having previously led Ao Tawhiti Unlimited Discovery in Christchurch from 2013-2020 and Waiau Area School in 2012-2013.

Steven is excited to be the principal of a school with a vision for learning that includes a clear focus on sustainability and the environment. Fiordland College is a place for all to thrive and he is looking forward to working with the students, whanau and the staff of the College to make sure that this vision for education is achieved.

Steven is a principal who leads with honesty, kindness and hopefulness at all times. He has a genuine focus on students, bringing their voice into schoolwide decision making and developing personalised approaches to education. He hopes to continue the great work the school does to help all of its students achieve high educational outcomes.

Steven’s focus for the first year in the College is to build relationships with the entire community, and to develop a strategic plan with the School Board that reflects the current and future aspirations of our unique school.
