Dunedin Public Hospital is at high capacity due to a busy Emergency Department and an increase in COVID cases and staff illness.

Ward 3 Surgical C is also temporarily closed to visitors after a COVID-19 exposure event, but is still available on compassionate grounds.

Ward 7A (COVID-19 ward) also has visitor restrictions.

Visiting for all other wards remains open.
