Invercargill police have seized a "significant amount" of methamphetamine with a street value of $100,000, along with a "large amount" of cash at a city property.
The discovery was the result of a search warrant executed by the Southland Organised Crime Team.
Acting Detective Sergeant Matt Wyatt said the Armed Offenders Squad attended the search as a precaution.
A 25-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine for Supply, he said.
They will appear in the Invercargill District Court today.
Police reported the find on their Facebook page where they thanked a "very vigilant community" for its help in tackling this issue.
"Keep that info coming in," it says.
