NOTIFICATION OF LEASE CONCESSION APPLICATION

The Minister of Conservation gives notice under section 17SC of the Conservation Act 1987 of an application by Te Anau Helicopter Services Limited to lease 1320m² area of land adjacent to the Milford Aerodrome, within the Fiordland National Park.

The site contains a helicopter hanger, office and helipad for the purpose of operating a commercial helicopter service for a period of 30 years.

This application is to replace an existing concession.

Any person or organisation may make comment in writing to the Director-General for or against the proposal or make any other written submissions on the proposal.

Submissions will be accepted up to and including Friday 4^th June 2021.

Once submitted, submitters' information is subject to the Official Information Act 1982 and may be released under that Act.

If you wish to keep any part of your submission confidential, you need to state this in writing when making your submission.

Any person or organisation wishing to be heard in support of his/her submission, must request (within that submission) an opportunity to appear before the Director-General.

If a hearing is required, it is likely to occur on the week starting 21^st June 2021.
