The Invercargill couple who are charged with producing cannabis oil following an explosion and fire at their home on Rothesay Place on September 9, has appeared in court this morning.
Rebecca Bower (27) and Sam Just (28) are both charged with producing cannabis oil on September 9.
The charges were laid following a police investigation into the explosion and fire which broke out in the kitchen of their home in south Invercargill on the afternoon of September 9.

Three people were injured and two – Mr Just and Miss Bower – were seriously injured and were flown to Dunedin hospital to receive treatment for their burns.
The charges read that Mr Just and Miss Bower "jointly offended" with the other, and "did produce a class B controlled drug, namely cannabis oil."
They are currently seeking legal aid and are next due to appear in court on October 13.
