The Invercargill City Council (ICC) are sifting through all the submissions received on the city's proposed city block development investment ahead of a public hearing next week.
A total of 672 submissions were received during the community consultation which asked rate payers if they should invest up to $30 million in the development.
Of these submissions, 518 were received online a council spokesperson said.
Close to 70.83% were in favour of the investment, 28.87% were against while 0.3% were listed as 'other'.
The public hearing of the submissions is scheduled for July 16.
