Welcome back to Wallacetown school! We are bigger and better than ever!

We have opened our 4^th classroom, which is very exciting.

 Day 1 2023!!

 For the start of Term1 2023 we welcomed 9 new children and their families to Wallacetown School!!

We hope they all enjoy their time at Wallacetown School and all the awesome opportunities and experiences that come with being part of a small school!

 We have also welcomed Mrs Roanna Robinson to our teaching team, and she is teaching in Room 1 this year.

We are well and truly back into the swing of school life!

There is a nice ‘hum’ around the school and our students are back in the rhythm of work and learning.

It was great to have our first assemblies – and we do a ‘Livestream’ on our Facebook Page with Room 4 starting the year off.

Each week, a different class ‘leads’ the assembly.

On Mondays, each classes have their Kiwi Can sessions with our leaders Gabbie and Emily, and Thursdays Ko Taku Reo are onsite for their hub days.

On Friday 17th February we had a family and community ‘Bring your Tea to school’ night.

It was awesome to see over 100 people here.

It was a great chance to come together, meet some of our new families/students, meet all the teachers, and have a look around the classrooms!

Athletics Sports – Winton – Wow! What a great day we had on Friday 3rd March at Central Southland College.

It was great to see our students in action and they can be very proud of their efforts on the day!

Thank you to everyone who took transport, and who joined us, and even to the parents who were ‘roped’ into participating!

It was wonderful to have the support.

We also have been working hard on rebranding and making ourselves more visible!

22 of our Students represented Wallacetown school at Central Athletics on 14^th March.

A huge congratulations to Lilly, Poppy, Zaria, Sophie, Ritchie, Flynn, Eliza, Nixie, Olivia, Annie, Eva H, Pyper, Max, Harry, Frank, Arthur, Melilah ,Jack B, Connor, Charlee, Kage & Rocco.

You were all amazing, and we are very proud of you all.

In weeks 5 & 6 we welcomed 4 more new entrants to Room 2!

There’s always lots happening at Wallacetown School.

We have the builders in working on the swimming pool, and then they’ll start on the verandahs, keep updated with our activities on Facebook, or our School website !!
