Lochiel School has again been busy over the last three weeks.

The Charity Hospital fundraiser led to a sea of red, black and white filling the school.

Students showed their support by forming the words “care" and creating the shape of a ‘love heart’ with the coins and notes given.

We raised enough money to purchase our third brick, as well as make a donation.

We had the Lochiel School Disco and this year's theme was NEON!!!

Bright colors and lights were everywhere, with children dancing to the DJ music.

It was a wonderful community gathering and everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly. 

The Netball results were very exciting, with both our Year 5 and 6 and our Year 7 and 8 teams winning all their games at the recent Southland Netball Tournament held at the ILT Stadium.

Achievements like this are not possible without full community support and boy did we have it.

Our yearly skiing experience was not to be missed with students heading up the Remarkables ski field either skiing or snowboarding on fresh snow.
