This year we welcomed Mrs Renata Jackson to our teaching staff.
Renata teaches our beautiful New Entrants and comes to us with vast teaching experience.

We held our first Forest Hill Trail Run this year.
The sun shone and for our VERY FIRST event it went very smoothly!
The committee who put a lot of effort into getting this event up and running did such a great job!
We are so proud of the effort they put into raising funds for Lochiel School - so lucky!
Students spent time researching ideas for their signs to support runners and walkers in Sunday's event at Forest Hill.
We had runners from all over Southland and Otago come down to tackle our awesome track, taking on the 5km, 15km and 25km trail.
There were some challenges out on the track and farm land, but everyone ended the day with a smile.
Thanks to all of our helpers who came along to support us at this event by cooking the BBQ, helping at water stations, handing out prizes, pointing people in the right direction and most of all for CHEERING on the runners!
Check out some of the pics in this article from the day - you will spot some familiar faces!
Hopefully next year is BIGGER AND BETTER and we can see you all there!!!
