Lochiel School has been busy as ever this term.
We held a virtual Pet Day which was a huge success, all pupils have completed Swimming lessons and our Year 7 and 8’s completed their Technology lessons offsite.
5 of our students on 26 November are attending the Chess Nationals and we wish them well competing against the best in our country online.
Last week we received 10 new bikes and helmets to be utilised for the Lochiel School Pump Track.
We are extremely proud of the way in which our students have contributed to the Strategic Direction of our school.
Two years ago, one of our classes proposed a new Bike Track and this term we saw the reality of this taking place, with bikes and helmets finally arriving that were purchased through a Sporting Grant.
These resources will benefit all our pupils with the gear being used at both morning tea and lunch.
Our students love the outdoors, and the recent flurry of hot weather has given them the opportunity to trial out the pump track and the new bikes, as well as enjoy specialist cricket lessons on site.
We hope the weather is an indication of the summer to come.
If you want to view our awesome school, which is small enough to be a large family grouping, but big enough to offer a huge variety of experiences, give us a ring.
