The bomb squad detonated explosives at Mossburn's Golf course today (7 Mar).

A Police spokesperson advised that the surrounding areas had been cordoned off and the event was all controlled.

The event has now been completed, they said.

Last month a Mossburn man tragically died after attempting to dispose of old power gel.
