The Bellerby Family would like to thank the Te Anau and wider Southland community for all the generosity, love and support which we have received while in the search for our son, Lochie, who has been missing at sea since the ship which he was working on sank in a typhoon near the coast of Japan on September 2nd.

The care and support from our community has been overwhelming.

We would also like to specifically thank everyone who has donated to our Give A Little page which has enabled us to continue running satellite searches for the missing life vessels, and help with the Australian efforts of searching island coast lines with a helicopter.

The local community support has meant such a huge amount to us, and given us strength as we continue the difficult search for Lochie and the other 39 missing crew on his ship.
