Balfour is about to be hit with an increase of Spam as well as the arrival of the famed Knights Who Say "Ni!" as the Balfour Theatre Company readies for its latest production.

The theatre restaurant production of the famed Monty Python musical Spamalot will begin tomorrow and run for two weekends at the Balfour Hall.

Spamalot is a musical version of the 1975 hit film Monty Python and the Holy Grail and tells the story of King Arthur of Camelot as he hunts for the holy grail, all with a comedic twist.

Balfour Theatre Company president Viv Beaton said audiences should expect to laugh a lot during the shows.

"We had been eyeing up Spamalot for a wee while as a lot in our group are keen Monty Python fans. Comedy is our trademark and this show fits that. Audiences can expect plenty of laughs, catchy songs, the sponsors getting a ribbing, a shrubbery and a killer rabbit."

All tickets to the show include a buffet meal, with a cash bar available on each night of the production.

The show will run this weekend on Friday and Saturday night, as well as next weekend on June 20, 21 and 22.

Tickets can be purchased by contacting Ziggy Roy on 027-444-8353.
