Bibliophiles of all sorts are in for a treat as the Balfour Lions Club holds their regular used book sale this weekend.
Non-fiction, hobbies, and paperback novels to get your reading sorted over the winter: Balfour Lions Club vice president Olivia Ross says there are books of all kinds being sold at the Balfour Hall this weekend, with most being sold for the low price of one dollar.
Preserves and baking would also be on sale, as well as the chance to enter a raffle to win a grocery hamper.
Miss Ross said the fundraiser, which occurred every second year, raised funds for the club to later put back into the community.
The sale kicked off last night at 6pm, and would take place from 9am to 5pm on Saturday, May 11 and from 9am to 3pm on Sunday, May 12.
