Police have confirmed that Tuesday’s Armed Offenders Squad (AOS) callout in east Gore was not a legitimate call for help.
Police responded to an alleged firearms incident at an address on Hamilton Street, in east Gore on Tuesday (January 19).
They quickly shut down Hamilton Street and told residents and nearby businesses to stay inside as a precaution.
