Alliance Group beef, lamb and venison is feeding New Zealand's athletics, supporters and VIPs at this year's 2024 Paris Olympics.

The food company, who has its roots in Southland, is the official red meat supplier to New Zealand House during the games.

Alliance Group Chief Executive Willie Wiese said the group was extremely proud of its partnership with the New Zealand Olympic team.

Alliance’s Lumina Lamb, Pure South Handpicked 21 Day Aged Beef, and Pure South Venison are all on the menu at New Zealand House, with their Olympian Sandwich featuring Pure South Venison Loin, stewed kiwi and onion compote, cheese and french fries being one of the menu highlights.

“Our red meat is not only powering our athletes to success on the world stage, but also giving Kiwis a taste of home.”

Alliance will also be hosting VIP events and a BBQ, presenting the co-operative’s top brands to an international audience, Wiese said.
