CLOSED from East Gate (Hollyford) to Donne River (Westgate) Reopen Tuesday

Comments:

The road is closed and will remain closed all day today due to heavy rain increasing the avalanche hazard. It is likely the road will reopen late Tuesday morning after avalanche debris has been cleared off the road. Overnight closure expected at 5pm Tuesday for snow. Reopening on Wednesday when snow clearing allows. An all-day closure on Thursday is probable with another large volatile weather system forecast which will increase the avalanche hazard.
