The Bluff Oyster & Food Festival is back in 2021, with tickets set to go on sale next month.
But sadly, those hoping to use their tickets purchased for the 2020 festival, through former ticket provider Ticket Rocket, won’t be able to use them for the festival this year, Bluff Oyster festival committee member Kylie Fowler said.
However, Fowler said fortunately those who purchased the ‘blue cardboard tickets’ directly from the Bluff Oyster & Food Festival committee, can use these to gain entry to the 2021 event in May.

Ticket Rocket were contracted to sell tickets to the 2020 Bluff Oyster & Food festival, but the company went into liquidation late last year after failing to pay its debts.
The company left the popular Bluff festival out of pocket after it failed to pass on the funds for the tickets before it went in liquidation.
This meant the festival could not process refunds for those tickets.
Tickets for this year’s Bluff Oyster & Food Festival on Saturday May 22, will go on sale at 9am on Monday 1 February.
Bluff Publicity/Promotions officer Lindsay Bear said tickets were only available from Ticketek and would be strictly limited.
“…after the cancellation of the 2020 Festival due to Covid restrictions many elected to roll their tickets over to the 2021 event,” he said.
“With last year’s disappointment, tickets are expected to be in hot demand so get in quick to get your tickets this year.”
He said the festival would once again feature a huge range of food stalls, predominantly, but not limited to, seafood, with of course the succulent Bluff Oyster the “hottest item at the event”.
The popular Oyster eating and opening events would be making a reappearance and Mr Beer promised a superb line up of entertainment to keep patrons entertained on the day.
