Passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday 19 March, 2024, in her 96th year.

Dearly loved wife of Jim*.

Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Peter and Anne, Stephanie McLaughlin, Maria and Alec* McNee, Mark and Jude, John and Xiaolu, Paul and Gail, Andrea and Allan Ladbrook, Richard and Sheryl, Christine and Peter Pryde, Brendan and Donna, Louise and Bruce Alsop, Owen and Sarah.

Much loved Nana of her 44 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren.

Loved sister and sister-in-law of the Greer and Young families. 

Special thanks to Rose Lodge for their wonderful care and loving friendships she made during her last few years. 

A service to celebrate the life of Dorothy will be held in St Mary’s Basilica, Tyne Street, Invercargill on Monday 25 March at 2pm followed by interment at Eastern Cemetery.
