Died peacefully, on 30 January 2021 in the arms of his family.

A loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Husband and best friend to Jean.

Brother to Vonny and Tom.

Father, friend and counsellor to Paul and Debbie, Kiri and Paul, Darren and Debbie, Sean and Prue. Papa of Josh, Jake and Melissa, Georgia and Will and Isabella and Will.

Poppa of Summer, Brooke and Shane, Jordyn, Garth, and Luka, Grace, Henry and Louis. Great Pop Pop to Zion - Haze and Fletcher.

Respected friend of many. 

A service to celebrate Garth’s life will be held at J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr. Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, at 1.30pm, on Thursday February 4. Cremation thereafter.

Sincere thanks to Invercargill Hospital Critical Care Team, Surgical Team and Oncology Department and to Southland Hospice Team, for their expertise, compassion and support.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be left at the service for Hospice.
