Jean has passed away on Sunday 21st September 2025.

Aged 104 years, 11 months and 8 days.

Much loved wife of the late Ron.

Loving mother of Sharon and Christine, mother-in-law, grandmother and adored great grandmother.

A loved and respected aunt and friend of many.

Jean is the last of six children to pass away of the late John Kennedy (JK) and Elizabeth Morton Stevenson.

Thank you to those staff at Rowena Jackson who went above and beyond in their care of Jean over the last 15 years.

A heartfelt thanks to Dr Stout.

Jean appreciated your visits and care shown to her and for her.

There are not enough words to thank the staff at J Fraser and Sons and Winton and Districts Funeral Services.

Owing to family travelling, a farewell celebration will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr. Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Monday 20th October at 11am.

Jean has been reunited with Ron at the East Winton Cemetery.

A wonderful life lived well.
