Great-Grandad of Peyton, Meila, and Harrison (Wreys Bush), Arden and Arlo (Alexandra), Bella and Van (Winton).

Beloved son of John* and Louisa Maud* Williams (nee Pritchard).

Loved brother and brother-in-law of Ivan* and May* Williams, Irene* and Wilfred* Muir, Daphne and Fred* Attfield, Bill* and Flora Williams, Shirley* and George* Rogerson, Thelma and Ewan* Knight, Norman* and Judith Williams, Robert (Bob)* and Moera* Williams, Frank* and Heather* Williams.

Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

Loved son-in-law of George* and Freda* Soper, loved brother-in-law of Ralph* Soper and Helen* Keast, a very special brother-in-law of Carol* Soper, Jean Soper and Rodney* Keast. 

A service for Alan will be held in J Fraser & Sons’ Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Thursday 4 August at 10:30am followed by interment at Athol Cemetery, arriving approximately 2:30pm.

We would like to thank the staff at Rowena Jackson especially Sue, Jenny and Melissa in the Edinburgh Wing, and the staff at Southland Hospital especially the team in the Surgical Ward for their great care of Alan.

In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Southland would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
