Aged 92 years.

Following a stroke and a hard-fought battle at Southland Hospital, Harvey peacefully slipped away from us holding Bev’s hand on Wednesday May 10, 2023, at Gore Hospital.

Beloved husband for 64 years of Beverley.

Dearly loved father, father-in-law and mentor of Heather McKenzie and Owen McCartney (Gore) and Alan and Michelle (Perth).

Loved grandad and great grandad “Harry” to Jo, Andrew, Cam, and Ellie (Christchurch) and Brad (Pannawonica).

Poppy to Aleisha and Aaron (Perth).

Loved brother and Brother-in-law of the late Margaret and Russell Orr.

Loved brother-in-law of Lenore and Bill Harvey, Liz and Graham Senior, Jeanette and Peter Mant.

Loved uncle of his nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Harvey’s life will be held in the Balfour Hall on Tuesday May 16, at 1.30 pm then leaving for the Balfour Cemetery.
