Southland has over 30 Catchment Groups, forming a network covering over 85% of the Southland region, and this network is expanding rapidly.

Wendon Catchment Group

The Wendon catchment is a mix of arable, forestry, sheep, beef and dairy. 

Hosted events / meetings

A keen group of 16 met up in July 2022 to discuss the possibilities around forming a Wendon catchment group and to brainstorm ideas for future projects.

Interest in the catchment group has increased since the first meeting and members encourage anyone else in the area to get in touch.

Wendon Catchment Group are interested in understanding their existing water testing data.
