Peacefully on Sunday 19 January 2025 at Rowena Jackson Rest Home.

Aged 81 years.

Dearly loved son of Ellice* and Bob* Watson.

Loved brother and brother-in-law of Eleanor* and Owen* Hillas, Anne* and Daniel* Phillips, John* and Glenda* Watson, and Marion and John* Soundy.

A much loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to the staff of Rowena Jackson O'Byrne Wing for the exceptional care and kindness shown to Bernie during the latter years of his life.

A service to celebrate Bernard’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street Invercargill on Friday 24 January at 10.00am, interment to follow at the Orepuki Cemetery at approximately 1pm.
