Our mighty Tōtara has fallen in the great forest of Tāne, after a courageous 7 year battle, Ngami passed away, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, 9 February, 2023.

Loved wife of Allan.

Cherished mother of Rebekah, Khrystina, Daniel-Wayde, Rhuebyn and Michaela, Pehni, Wylson, and Jysse.

Adored grandmother of Elliott; Arthur, and Myles.

A celebration of Ngami’s life will be held at the Gore Town and Country Club, Bury Street, on Tuesday, 14 February at 5pm, her request is that everyone wears colour to honour her vibrant life.

In lieu of flowers, Ngami requests that donations are made to Hospice Southland or Starship Hospital.

Surrounded by love, Ngami will be resting at home until Tuesday.
