With heavy hearts we announce Murray's passing, with his beloved family by his side on Thursday 7th of December 2023 at Hospice Southland.

Much loved husband of the late Marianne.

Dearly loved father and father in law of Anthony and Gina and Rowena and Ross Phillipson.

Cherished Grandad of Claire, Sarah, and the late Nathan.

Loved son of Alec* and Freda*, and son in law of Jacob* and Sijke* Groot.

Dearly loved brother of Heather.

A respected and loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

We are extremely grateful for all the care given to our Dad during this journey.

A private cremation has been held.

A memorial service to celebrate Murray's life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street Invercargill on Tuesday 12th of December, at 2pm.
