Unexpectedly passed away at Southland Hospital with her family by her side, on Thursday 10th April 2025.

Aged 78 years.

Loved daughter of Steve and Connie Kokay.

Wife of the late Barry Thomas.

Loved Mother and mother in law of Katrina and James, Glenn and Tracy, and Suzzanne and Shane.

Loved Nanna Thomas of Stephen, Sarah, Andy; Jed, Flynn and Bree; and Lachlan.

Loved Great Nanna Thomas of Katie, Jayden, Bailey, Annabelle, Jack, Madison, Sophie, Lee*, Izahbella, Carson, and Lincoln.

Loved sister and sister in law of Verona, Les and Chris, and Ilona.

Loved Aunty of all her nieces and nephews.

Donations to St John would be greatly appreciated and can be left at her service.

A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held on Tuesday 15th April 2025, 1pm in Waiau Town and Country Club, Tuatapere. Interment at Tuatapere Cemetery will follow.
