Walk or cycle along the Te Anau Manapouri Cycle Trail from the Fiordland National Park Visitor Centre, following the lake shore of Lake Te Anau through native bush to the Department of Conservation bird sanctuary.

Birds include kaka and the rare takahe.

Feeding times are: 9:30 am (1 October - 31 March) & 10:30 am (1 April - 30 September)
