Just shy of her 96th birthday.

Loved daughter of the late Louisa and George Evans.

Beloved wife of the late Elliott Reginald Tallentire.

Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Leonard and Maria, Nola and Barry Wingate, Mary and David Petersen, Frank and the late Pat, Denise, Kathy and the late John Swale, Bryan and Raylene, the late Edward, and Elizabeth and Geoff Trumper.

Adored grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

A service to celebrate Betty’s life will be held in J Fraser and Sons’ Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Tuesday 30 April at 10am followed by private cremation.
