Peacefully, with great dignity, at Southland Hospital with Lyn at his side.

Most dearly loved husband of Lyn for more than 64 years.

Devoted and loved father and father-in-law of Julie and John Asher (Miller’s Flat) and Richard and Karen (Florida).

Adored grandfather and great-grandfather of Karly, Luke and Jacob Asher-Howard (W.A), Micaela, Dre, Finn and Pippa Niehaus (Dunedin), Alex and Helen (Melbourne), Adam and Miles (Wellington), and Natasha (Wellington).

In keeping with Peter’s wishes there will be no funeral.
