Passed away peacefully in the care of Iona Wing, Peacehaven, Invercargill on Friday, 20th September 2024.

Aged 77.

Dearly loved husband of Ainslee for 56 years.

Loved father and father-in-law of Mark and Debbie Stevens, Catherine and Chris O’Connor, and Sharon and Alistair Mitchell.

Loved Pop of Molly, Flynn, Reuben, Maisie, Harry, Anna, Maddie, Georgia, Ronan, Keira, Blake, and Ethan.

Loved brother and brother-in-law of Claire and Bill Hicks, Roy and Janet Stevens, Bill and Joan Stevens, and Arran and Christine Lowe.

Third son of the late Harry and Mavis Stevens (Bluff) and son-in-law of the late Arthur and Marjorie Lowe (Bluff).

A special thanks to the Iona Wing team at Peacehaven for their kindness and support to Jim and family.

A memorial service to celebrate Jim’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Saturday, 28th September at 2:00pm.

Donations to Alzheimer’s Southland would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
