On 23rd April 2025 at Kew Hospital, Invercargill, aged 96.

Much cherished wife of the late Alan Starling.

Dearly loved Mum and mother-in-law of Moira and John Spicer (Kaka Point), Lorna Starling and Charlie Brown (Invercargill) and mother-in-law of Michael Gilbert (Nelson). 

Treasured Gran of Deb and Richard Quested, Rachel and David Baird, Jono and Soon-Lee Spicer, Matt and Kelly Gilbert, Liv and James McFelin and her 12 great-grandchildren.

Loved Auntie Dot of Colin and Alison Starling (Waikanae) and family. 

A private cremation has been held.
