Passed peacefully in his 95th year at Gore Hospital, February 6th, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Dearly loved husband and soulmate of the late Nancy* and Dulcie.

Treasured Grandad of Braden, Jared and Sarah, Gavin and Claire, Chris and Jenna, Megan and Lew, Nick and Lauren and Gemma.

Beloved great Grandad of Elliott and Owen and baby Bellas.

Much loved brother of Dulcie* & Albert* McCall, David* & Greta Stark.

A celebration of Alex's life will be held at St Andrews Presbyterian Church, 2 Devon St, Gore on Tuesday February 10th at 1:30pm, followed by a private burial at the Waikoikoi Cemetery.
