The angels came for wee Carroll while she slept peacefully at Longwood Care Home, Riverton, on Tuesday, 19 October 2021.

Aged 61 years.

Dearly loved daughter of Austin* and Maxie*.

Beloved sister and sister-in-law of Peter and Alison Stack, Mary and Jack Turnbull, Chris Stack*, Austin Stack and Miriam Thomas.

Cherished Aunty and Great Aunty of Sarah, Jeremy, Joe and Adah; Roz, Bruce, Toby, Tom and Chloe; Bridget, Matt, Charlotte, Ella and George; Theresa, Regan, Louis and Annie.

Devoted housemate to Karina, Alan, Roger and Michael.

Loved by all staff at “Ann Street” Balclutha, and Idea Services who have lovingly cared for Carroll over the years.

Carroll was lovingly supported and championed for by Susan Cross whom Carroll’s family greatly appreciated.

Our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Longwood Care Home for their tender loving care of Carroll, but also for their welcoming embrace of our whole family during the last few weeks.

A private funeral has been held to celebrate Carroll’s life and the love she has brought to us all.
