The Southland Ski Club Inc. was established in 1933 as a non-profit organisation to encourage, engage and inspire the southland community in the unique alpine environment that is Coronet Peak.
The club owned lodge, conveniently located on the mountain and just below the base buildings at Coronet Peak, is community focused and available for use by members, schools, and other community groups based in the southland region or those with affiliations with the area.
Designed with groups and families in mind, those who visit enjoy the social aspect of lodge life and the convenient location.
The Club also operates ski weeks for children during the winter school holidays, where accommodation, meals, lift passes, ski lessons and gear hire are offered in conjunction with NZSki at a very reasonable rate and under full supervision.
