Peacefully at Dunedin Public Hospital with his family with him on Saturday 30th September 2023.

Beloved husband of Ann.

Loving father and father-in-law of Juanita, Hayden, Courtney and Jared.

Loving and proud grandad of Sophie, Lily, Eli, Lila, and Jordy. 

Loved son of Doug* and Jean* Smith.

Loved brother and brother-in-law of Stuart* and Phyllis, Claire and Allan, Diana, George* and Sallye-Anne, Jean and Garry*, Margaret and Brian, Gwen and Paul, Fiona and Ray, Helen, Lesley* and Trevor.

Respected uncle of his nephews and nieces.

Nephew of Tom and Fay, Tuatapere.

A service to celebrate Peter’s life will be held at his home, 193 Java Road, Limehills on Friday 6th October at 1.00pm.

A private cremation will follow.
