Died: 13th June 2022

On June 13th 2022, aged 82, Joan passed peacefully at the Southland Hospice surrounded by her family. 

Joan was the dearly loved wife and best friend of Tom for 58 years.

Mother and mother in-law to Greg & Nicola, Jocelyn & Eric Todd, Scott & Gillian.

A much loved and special Nana to Courtney (Melbourne), Rebecca (London), Jessica, Mitchell, Kristen & James Schrader, Liam & Megan Todd (Nashville), Sophie & Nina.

A dearly loved big sister & sister in-law to David & Lakkhana Fergie, Judith Lloyd, Allison & John Roberts.

Cherished aunty to all of her nieces & nephews.

A heartfelt thanks goes to all those involved in Joan’s care over past years, with special thanks to the staff at Southland Hospital and Southland Hospice for taking care of her in her final hours.

In respect of Joan’s wishes, a private service will be held.
