Peacefully after a long courageous battle on Tuesday December 27, 2022.

Aged 84 years.

Dearly loved husband of Beth for 57 years.

Loved and respected father of the late Geoffrey, and Marlys and Michael, Lindsay, Murray and Carol, Jason and Carmen.

Loved Grandad of Michael and Keryn, Annalys and Howie, Kimberley and Pete, Cameron and Nicole, Makayla and Liam, Jamie and Tanna, Riley and Tyler.

Loved great Grandad of Ollie and Chelsea, Adeline and Lachlan

Loved brother of Mavis and the late Grahame Andrews.

Special thanks to the staff at the Medical Ward, Southland Hospital for their compassionate care over the past week.

A service for John will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr. Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, at 10.30am, on Thursday January 5, 2023.
