With heavy hearts we would like to announce the passing of Gladys, unexpectedly but peacefully, at home, Clinton, on Sunday, 20 February 2022.

Aged 71 years.

A much loved wife of George for 47 years.

Much loved mother of Alister (Fairlie), Robert (deceased), Janet and Nigel (Invercargill).

Loved grandmother of Kayleigh, Courtney, Zayden and Cade.

Loved great-grandmother of Harlee and Rilynn.

Dearly loved daughter of the late Alfred and Marion Ure.

Daughter-in-law of Robert and Christina Slocombe.

Sister and sister-in-law of Murray (deceased) and Alison Ure; Winfred and Wallace McGregor.

Loved Auntie of her nieces and nephews.

A private service for Gladys will be held in Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore, on Thursday, 24 February, at 1-00 p.m., then leaving for Riversdale Cemetery.
