Passed away peacefully at Cargill Resthome Invercargill on Monday 23 September 2024.

Aged 83 years.

Dearly loved husband of Fonnie (Florence) Shirley.

Loved father and father-in-law of Mark and Allison, Steve and Debs, Kim Shirley and Barry Mouat.

Cheeky Pop of his 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Adored eldest brother and brother-in-law of Pat and Colin Sinclair, Alan and Kathy Shirley, Joan and Murray* Farley, Tom and Elaine Brown, and Bobbie* Stewart.

A memorial service to celebrate Stew’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel 75 Fox Street Invercargill on Friday 27 September at 2.00pm.
