After a courageous battle over many years, Wayne passed away under the care of the lovely staff at Southand Hospital, surrounded by his family on Tuesday 28th January 2025.

Aged 62 years.

Dearly loved husband of Linda and specially loved father and father-in-law of Anna and Damian McKay (Invercargill), and Fran and Raf O’Neale (London).

Respected brother-in-law of May* McGregor, Valda* and Keith* Ryder, Ray* and Shirley* McGregor, Helen Scammell and Wes McMillan (Invercargill), Robin and Lynette McGregor (Balfour), Wallace and Win* McGregor (Winton), Ian and Eileen McGregor (Rangiora), and Coral* and Wes Greig (Gore).

As per Wayne’s wishes a private cremation has taken place.

A funeral date will be advised.
