Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, 21 March, 2023.

Aged 69 years.

Dearly loved Mum and mother-in-law of Tim and Narelle, and the late Ryan.

Special Gran to Hayley and Leighton.

Loved daughter of the late Bill and Joan Shanks (Mataura).

Loved twin sister and sister-in-law of Mary and the late Moe Murray (Mataura).

Loved sister and sister-in-law of Ian and Wendy Shanks (Gore), and the late Kenneth.

Much loved auntie of all her niece and nephews and their extended families.

Very special friend of Wendy Matheson.

Thanks to Hospice Southland and Albany House Gore, for their loving care of Susan.

A service to celebrate Susan’s life will be held at Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore on Saturday 25 March, at 11am, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be gratefully appreciated for Hospice Southland and may be left at the service.
