Peacefully at Southland Hospital with her loving family by her side on Sunday, 28th July 2024.

Aged 90 years.

Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Alistair* Hoatten, Stuart and Margy Hoatten (Australia), Liz and Wayne Racz, Anel and Cary Stanley, Donald and Diane Hoatten (Perth), Raymond Hoatten, and Lynda Schofield (Queensland).

Loved Nana to all her grand and great grandchildren and Bad Nana to all her nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Val’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Wednesday, 31st July at 10:00am.
