Phil passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

Aged 94 years.

Loving husband of Betty for 71 years.

Loved son of the late Philip and Annie Ryan.

Loved father of Christine, Stephen, David, and Heather and father-in-law of Paul*.

Loved grandfather of Duncan, Vanessa, Luana, Clancy, Stevie, Jimmy, Heather, Haley, Melissa, Michael, Sean, Samantha, Liam, Matthew, and Adam.

Great grandfather to his thirteen great grandchildren.

Loved brother and brother-in-law of Stanley* & Janie*, George* & June, Merna* & Jack*, Erin & Peter*, Rodney (Hom) & Shirley*, Patsy & Ron*, John & Margaret*, Billy & Edith, Sharon* and George*, Duncan & Vicky, Rex & Mary, Nigel & Lou, Alf* and Alison.

Loved uncle, cousin and friend to many.

A service for Phil will be held at the Avenal Park Funeral Home 75 Fox Street, Avenal Invercargill at 1:00pm on Monday, January 13, followed by a burial at Green Point cemetery.
