In his 85th year.

Passed away peacefully on Friday February 26, 2021 at his home (Mataura) surrounded by his loving family.

Dearly loved husband and best friend of Dawn (nee Haugh) for 59 years.

Cherished Dad and father-in-law of Tony and Fay (Mataura), the late Stewart, Debbie Donaldson (Mataura), Mandy and Brendon Soper (Invercargill), Jason (Jock) and Sonya (Gore).

Loved Grandad of Daniel, Keith and Kim; Stacey, Nick and Christina, and Jess; Bailey, and Drew; Brayden, Dayna and Justice, Jack, Liam, and Tommie.

Loved Great Grandad of Charlie, Thomas; William, and Aliza.

Much loved brother, brother-in-law and Uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Maurice’s wishes a private cremation has been held.

A remembrance service for Maurice will be held in the Mataura Community Centre, McQueen Avenue, Mataura on Thursday 4 March at 11.00am.

With Covid restrictions, numbers are limited to 100 for close family and friends to attend.
